Savion Glover

Early Years

Savion Glover was born on November 19th, 1973 in Newark, New Jersey. He was born into a family of dancers, with his father, mother, and grandmother all having been a part of the tap dancing community. His grandmother, Roberta Bruce, taught him the basics of tap dancing when he was a young child. By the age of 12, he had already started to make a name for himself in the world of tap dancing.
